Home Run Derby Rules

Limitations - 1 player enter from each competing team. This player must choose who pitches to them during their at bat. Qualifying rounds will be conducted on a separate field. The top hitters will be selected to compete in the championship round. This championship round will consist of at least 2 but no more than 5 hitters pending on ties.

The top two home run hitters from the qualifying field will compete in the Home Run Derby Championship. If there is a tie between players, they will all advance to a championship round. This is capped at 5 hitters due to time frame.

The Home Run Derby will commence before the final games are played in the tournament on the main field. This is a 1 round championship event. All hitters and the teams they represent will be announced. They will hit in reverse order to who hit the most home runs on the qualifying field. e.g. Whoever hit the most home runs to qualify will bat last, thus knowing what number of home runs they have to hit in order to win the contest.

Each player has 90 seconds to hit as many home runs as possible.

Whoever hits the most in the final round wins. In the result of a tie, 30 seconds will be given to the hitters that tied to hit more home runs.
